Building Code of Australia (BCA) University of Technology Sydney – UTS

Certificate IV building and constructions CPC40110 (TAFE – NSW)

CPC30211 Certificate III in Carpentry (TAFE – NSW)

Communication and Customer Service Skills (NSW Department of Education and Communities (DEC))

Joe’s Experience:

·         Engaging & managing trades including QA, safety, schedules & costs.

·         Run and supervise jobs from cost estimation, contract preparation site cut stage through to completion/handover.

·         Managing construction process, critical inspection points, permit and WHS requirements.

·         Conduct & schedule regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship & works being completed in a timely manner.

·         Ensure all work conforms to legislative and contractual OH&S requirements.

·         Liaising with property owners to communicate works, variations, and progress payments.

·         Responding to internal and external queries within the required timeframes.

·         Lease with certification authorities.

·         Plans preparation and review.

·         Prepare cost estimates on tenders and proposals.

·         Cost estimation using latest building cost estimation software (buildsoft)
